Crawford County, IN – As a result of its competitive grant cycle, the Community Foundation of Crawford
County (CFCC) recently awarded $87,971.00 in grants to thirteen 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations
serving Crawford County residents. While not all organizations have an office in Crawford County, the
CFCC confirmed that services are provided to residents here.
Angela Leonard, CFCC Grants Chairwoman and Board of Directors Chairwoman said, “Grants were
awarded to the following organizations in two categories, open (unrestricted) grants and education
grants. The committee carefully reviewed and evaluated each proposal, then met together to discuss
awards. This was not an easy task. We recognize each nonprofit that applied as a partner with the CFCC
in providing for needs of our community. They help our community members with all aspects of human
services. The CFCC is proud to work alongside them!”
“Each grant committee person struggles through the needs of our community as they review the
proposals, said Laken Fraime. “Our volunteers represent every facet of Crawford County and we are
grateful for each one of them.”
The CFCC received eight competitive unrestricted grant requests totaling $61,997.00. $21,977.00 was awarded to six different 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
