Crawford County Economic Development & Crawford County Tourism Open House

Crawford County, Indiana (October 19, 2022) – Crawford County Economic Development Corp. and Crawford County Tourism will host an open house on Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 2 to 6 p.m.

The open house will be held at the Crawford County Welcome Center on S.R. 66 at Carefree, where both offices are housed. The address is 6225 E. Industrial Lane, Leavenworth.

The staff of both the economic development and tourism offices will be on hand.

Jesse Belcher, interim director of the CCEDC, encourages everyone to stop by.

“Members of the public are welcome to ask questions about economic development, starting a new business, opportunities for assistance or to offer input as to what economic development should be focusing on,” said Belcher. “This is an opportunity for the public to find out about us and make sure their opinions are heard.”

Belcher said if someone is unable to make the open house, the office welcomes visitors at other times.

“We have an open-door policy and members of the public are welcome to stop by any time to discuss opportunities or give input,” he said.

The office is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except on holidays and when staff is attending meetings off-site.
