CCEDC, Southern Indiana Works, and other local organizations to offer SMAW Welding Bootcamp.
Crawford County Economic Development, in partnership with Southern Indiana Works and other local organizations, is offering a SMAW Welding Boot Camp. This 40-hour, five-week program will prepare participants to pass the 1G SMAW (Stick) 7018 certification test from the American Welding Society.
Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5–9 pm at Crawford County High School starting October 14. The $1750 course fee includes all gear, supplies, and testing fees.
Free tuition may be available for Crawford County residents who qualify.
